I'm Not Dead, Don't Worry

Hello!

I'm back after a week of not blogging! I just had... other stuff to do other than blogging, so to say (coughWatchTheBigBangTheorycough).

My life's really boring, so there isn't like anything to blog about. But ooh! We had this councillor dinner at Escapade on Saturday. It was really, really fun.

So... I just got my hair cut a few hours ago. It looks kind of the same, just thinned out and a little bit shorter. It's really light too. :D And now I'm back to being obsessed with headbands. But then it hurts the back of my ear for some metal headbands, and also it's very uncomfortable because I wear spectacles. This is one of the reasons why I want contacts, but Jasmine told me that she will *quote* punch *unquote* them out of my eyes if I do get them. LOL.

Chinese New Year's at the end of this week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is something which I am REALLY looking forward to. I have been waiting for this since December when I went to KK where I bought all my new clothes which I will FINALLY be able to wear (I don't have any new red/pink shirts/dresses so that would be a problem. Dad said that I don't have to wear red/pink on the first day too. So... yeah). And not to mention the ang pow(s)!

And of course, brothers #2 and #3 are coming back to celebrate it with us (OH MY GOD I REALLY MISSED THEM!), but instead, brother #1 will be going back this Friday. :( No more brother to drive me wherever I want to go (Sort of), no more brother to teach me Add Maths and D Maths and Chem and Physics. No more brother to annoy me very early in the morning, or to belanja me or to make fun of Edward Cullen (This, I will not be missing, fer sure).

I went out shopping for Chinese New Year decorations with my parents and brother a few weeks back, and I can't help but wonder why they are still selling Mickey Mouse ang pow(s), but not Tigger from Winnie The Pooh ang pow(s). This year is the year of the tiger, after all.

Tigger feels sad. He just doesn't show it on the outside. :(

I went to the Bismi in Gadong just now and saw the CNY decorations they always put up in NBT and this year's is REALLY good. The tigers are so cute!!!!! I am a bit biased here because I like felines. So bite me.

I went out with Sandra last Friday and got her Valentine's gift and Jasmine and Josephine's birthday presents. I really hope they like it. I know Sandra likes her's because she picked it out herself! That ruins the element of surprise, but at least she knows what she's getting and likes it. :D

That would be all for now, until I get the blogging fever and start to blog like crazy again.

Love, Audrey

Random Post 5.0

I haven't been blogging much lately.

Must be because...

A) I have nothing to blog about.

B) I'm sick (TRUE STORY OKAY. Been sneezing and coughing all day. And I HATE HAVING BLOCKED EARS! I can hear, but then there's like this void around my ear. Like I can't really hear myself speak. It's VERY uncomfortable.)

C) I had other stuff to do (National Day Practices just started, and I'm starting tuition tomorrow. And I've been watching Glee and How I Met Your Mother all day so blogging's like kicked off my schedule. But it's back on, so do not fear! :D)

D) HOMEWORK. (We don't have piles and PILES of homework like the express class, THANK GOD! But we do have homework, of course. And it's very tedious to do. Especially when I can't get the right answers for Maths. I'll be super frustrated and mad at myself for not getting the right answer. But eventually I do, with the help of my brother, of course. There's also Physics! Worst. Subject. Ever. It's REALLY boring and the teacher's NOT helping that case AT ALL, albeit adding to it. It's really hard to get the whole indices thing because I suck at indices.)

I added a daily blog counter on my blog (To the right), to monitor the daily clicks on my blog. And so far... it's depressing. 37 hits today (When I was typing out this post), 45 yesterday. But at least you people still click on my blog. So that's good. But I'm far too obsessed. I WANT MORE!

So I went to this wedding dinner in Seria yesterday. It was kind of not what I expected, since my mom was like telling all of us and getting on our cases about what to wear and all that.

(Don't flame me and say that I had no right to blog about the next few paragraphs, okay. If you were there you would TOTALLY agree with me. I'm just voicing and typing out my own opinions about the wedding dinner. Who knows? Maybe my own wedding would be like this. MAYBE. Like a really big maybe.)

It was held in a church's communal hall, because I guess that's the cheapest place to host 400 (I was told. Didn't look like 400 though) people. The groom is my mom's friend's son, so we were invited. When you walk in the hall, you can see people washing the cutlery and the pots and pans and plates and cups outside. You can also see the huge dumpster they have there right next to the entrance.

It was all very tacky and the food was sub par. The decorations and everything. There was this little cartoon character of a bride and groom in the middle of the stage as a backdrop. The chairs were those red plastic chairs we use in school.

When the bride and groom came in the parish hall, the "groomsmen" were like popping those long stick things that shoot out little confetti and paper stuff into the air. And the distance in which they popped open those sticks were REALLY close the the tables (One guy was directly behind me) so the confetti and paper would've gone into our drinks and soy sauce had we not been warned by the waitresses to cover them. Our table and clothes and hair were covered with paper strips so we were ticked off by that.

The bride's mother was in a T-shirt and slacks. HER OWN DAUGHTER'S WEDDING DINNER FOR CHRIST'S SAKE. The dress code was somehow very dress-down and casual. There were people in jeans and there was one guy in a shirt with an advertisement about some Brunei thing at the back.

But... it was not that bad. There was a cake, though it was not served to the guests like all wedding dinners. And... there was the champagne glass pyramid thing, though the alcohol actually poured into the glasses were not champagne but red wine. I could smell the drink when the bride and groom went around and yam-seng-ed.

Now on to the next topic.

Since there is an express class now, it's becoming a stereotype.

Everyone's saying that the express class students are the elite and the smartest and the "cream of the crop", which they are. And it's making everyone (Okay, me) feel very inferior. People are like saying the students who are not in the express class are classified as dumb. They don't actually say that, but... along the lines, maybe.

Still... I don't regret not going to 9Y. I see the amount of homework the teachers give the class. And it's a lot of homework. It's very scary and frightening. But I asked the students from the express class and they said that it's okay and not that bad. So all's good. :)

P.S. All the pictures above (Except the daily blog counter one) do not belong to me. I got them off Google. I didn't bring my camera so I didn't manage to take any pictures.

P.P.S. READ RANDOM POST 1.0, 2.0, 3.0 and 4.0!

P.P.P.S. I SWALLOWED MY FIRST PILL! Even though it was only like 5mm in diameter... AT LEAST I DID SWALLOW IT! I AM SO HAPPY! :D (For those of you who don't know... I can't swallow pills, or capsules, or tablets. That's why I have to either open the capsules or melt the pills/tablets and taste the horrible tasting liquid.)

P.P.P.P.S. NEW LEVERAGE EPISODE! JOY!

Cartoon Network

Note: I am not sure if the cartoons listed here are still showing on Cartoon Network or not. I don't watch it anymore, so if I made a mistake here somewhere, please don't flame me. And I know about all these cartoons because Jasmine always complain to me about how the shows they show on Cartoon Network is very bad for kids. And she knows about all the shows I mentioned here because her brothers watch Cartoon Network.

When I was a kid, we didn't have Astro. Instead, we had Kristal (The lousy, old Kristal, not the newer one). It only had like 10 channels or something like that and Cartoon Network was the only channel that showed cartoons.

So when I watch TV when I was younger, it would be Cartoon Network.

But unfortunately for the younger generation of the 21st century, kids now watch the newer albeit suckier Cartoon Network. They will never know the wonders of the older CN.

Before, Cartoon Network showed nice cartoons, like...

Cow and Chicken

I remember that the top half of Cow and Chicken's "parents" can never be seen. I also happen to like the theme song. It's catchy.

Popeye the Sailor

In the face of danger (And losing his sweetheart, Olive Oyl), he will eat his trademark spinach from a can and immediately, he will grow some super big biceps and triceps and punch the hell out off all the baddies! That's what you get from eating steroid-filled spinach!

Johnny Bravo

According to Wikipedia,
Johnny has the looks of James Dean and sounds like Elvis Presley. He is incredibly narcissistic and dim-witted, traits that lead to a severe incorrigible inability to attract women, becoming a running gag throughout the series. Johnny can also be interpreted as a male representation of the "dumb blonde."

I like Little Suzy. She's cute.

I am Weasel

I've always liked I. M. Weasel. I think that he's incredibly cute and smart. :D

I. R. Baboon, on the other hand... is disgusting. LOL.

The classic Scooby Doo

I LOVE SCOOBY AND SHAGGY! They're funny. :D

and Dexter's Laboratory

I think they still show this on Cartoon Network, but I don't think that kids now still watch it.

I like how Dee Dee is freaking annoying to Dexter. She reminds me of myself. :D

I can never forget how Mandark chopped off his hair. LOL. He puts a bowl with a chipped rim (Which explains the M on the side of his head in the picture) on his head and cuts his hair around the bowl, like a mold.

Cartoon Network was nice. It showed sensible and non-retarded (Okay, maybe a bit semi-retarded) cartoons.

Sadly, now they show stupid and retarded cartoons too like...

The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy

This show is very disgusting.

The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack

What the hell is Laundry Island? LOL.

My Gym Partner's A Monkey

Just by this picture you would know how wrong the show is.

and Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends

I think this show is weird too because all the creatures in it look so scary and deformed.

This post is totally pointless. LOL. I just want to get this out in the open that Cartoon Network was awesome but it totally sucks now. When I was searching through Google for the pictures and Wikipedia for the info about the cartoons, I felt like I was still 6, like I was a kid again. When everything was so easy and there wasn't any drama or anything.

I know that maybe some of you don't agree with me about the cartoons but then, try to keep those comments to yourself, thank you very much (Please read the disclaimer on the right and the note above). Because for me, Cartoon Network's not fun to watch anymore, except for the occasional Ben 10. But other than that, no.

P.S. If you don't like Cartoon Network like me anymore, then consider watching other TV shows like Glee (I LOVE GLEE) and American Idol on Star World.

I AM SO SORRY, MEEZA! I remembered your birthday but I forgot to blog about it. I am so sorry! D:

It's late (Like really, really late) but I'll still wish you a happy birthday here anyway. :)

HAPPY BELATED 14th BIRTHDAY, MEEZA!

You stay pretty, okay?

I can't say "Have fun on your birthday" here because this greeting is belated, and also because I know that you did have fun on your birthday. LOL. :D

Brother Number Three

Brother #3. Why does he look so cute and innocent here?

Joann asked me to blog about my Brother #3, so I am going to. It's also because I have nothing else to blog about and this blog is dying! My readers have dropped (And so has the comments) and I am disappointed. In myself, of course. :(

So... about Brother #3.

He's my real brother, because we have the same parents (Duh). He's four years older than I am. We call him chicken, because my auntie pronounced his name as, "Ching Kin" (What the hell. It looks weird when I type it out, but yeah. That's how she pronounced his name. Well... she knows how to pronounce it right, she just likes to make parodies of everyone's names. LOL). So we modified the name a little and thought that it sounds so much like "Chicken", so eventually we started calling him "Chicken" and it stuck. It recently (Okay, not so recently. About like... four years ago, maybe?) evolved to "Bird Boy".

Photographer brother #3 .

He bullies me a lot, and he gets mad really easily and I'm scared of him when he gets mad. He's the reason why I cry so much, and he's also the reason why I have this little made-up disease called "Cryinglaughteritis". You may have heard of it, you may not. It's a disease where you cry but laugh at the same time. But the cry isn't a happy cry (Tears of joy). It's like the really sad cry. But then you manage to laugh too! While crying!

*Flashback* I was diagnosed with it on the way home from school when he made me cry (He's so mean)! Because of I don't know what. Then, when I was crying, he said something really funny and I laughed. And cried. So Jasmine made the word up and I was diagnosed with "Cryinglaughteritis". *End flashback*

Brother #3 eating.

So... back to the subject.

Brother #3 taught me all the stuff I didn't know when Brother #1 and Brother #2 weren't here. But he can't now, because he's not here anymore. :( He also fixes stuff for me, like when I jammed the CD drive in the 'dinosaur' computer that we used to have. We play games a lot. Like Monopoly Deal, Risk, Monopoly, Yellow Car (We are especially competitive at this), This game I don't know the name of, and Ultimate Rock Paper Scissors. During blackouts when there is nothing to do, we just play games. There is also one time when we tried to sing the lyrics to this song we didn't know the lyrics to that was playing on the radio. Not surprisingly, we sucked and sang the wrong lyrics, but he still won (Duh) and got most of the lyrics right. Lol. He wins at almost every game we play. Almost.

He is good at any game he plays. Be it the PS2, the computer, the DS, the PSP, the Wii or board/card/hand games. One day, he can be a professional gamer, but I do not think my parents will approve of that. Lol. He's really good in Maths and I again wonder... WHY DIDN'T I INHERIT THE MATHS OR SCIENCE GENES FROM MY PARENTS?????

Brother #3 at his Prom.

Brother #3 is very childish. He acts like a 8 year old when he's 18. One time, I was walking in front of him when he ran towards me and kicked my bag while exclaiming, "HYPER KICK!". I said, "How old are you?". And he just poked me. I guess we all know the answer to that. He also calls me "Dumbass" and "Fat Pig" ALL THE TIME when he sees me. It's like he doesn't know my name!

We have this relationship like any other sibling relationships. We fight a lot, but I know that deep, deep, deep, deep, deep, deep, deep, deep, deep, deep, deep, deep, deep, deep, deep, deep, deep, deep down in him, he loves me like I love him! ♥

(10.20 PM)

P.S. Credits for the pictures to whoever took them! I just grabbed them off from Facebook because I don't have a lot of flattering pictures of him and he never wants to take pictures with me.

P.P.S. Brother #3 is coming back on the 13th of February! Well that's what I've heard second-handedly. I am not sure. Can't wait to see him!
