I've been so busy this past week. T_T I am so happy that it's over!!!!! FINALLY.
I don't know if I'm supposed to blog this... but all the people who weren't supposed to see it already has so I guess it's okay. So...
If you were wondering what I have been doing for the past week, I have been doing this.
I have been cross-stitching non-stop since Tuesday. I owe the completion of this seemingly impossible task to my mother (Cross-stitcher extraordinaire) and my maid. And also my cousin, Yuki, her mother and my mother's friend. I couldn't have done it without you all. :)
They helped me make at least 80 of them. And it was no easy feat. Cross-stitching is enjoyable if you're not rushing and if you don't make any mistakes. But if you need to do more than a hundred in a short span of time... you can get really frustrated and fed up. But!!! We did finish it in time and I am so happy that we did. :D
So if any prom wenters (Goers. Wenters. Geddit? HAHA. Lame) are reading this, I'm sorry if the one you got wasn't your favourite colour or if there were any mistakes in the stitching. But try to understand that it was done out of the goodness of our hearts. We did try to make it as nice as possible but no one is perfect, right? I hope you appreciate the immense effort that all of us put in to make them. :)
By the way, the picture on top was taken by my new baby!!!
The Canon PowerShot SX210 IS!!!!!OMG! Doesn't it look so pro? Mine's the black one. I would've preferred the purple one though. But I think that the black one looks more professional. My dad just handed me the camera and said, "Nah. Give me the old one ah." Then I looked at it and clicked it open. The pop-up, pop-down flash popped up and I was like woah because damn that was cool. HAHAHAHAH!
The megapixel of this camera is less than my previous Canon Ixus 980 IS (by 0.6 MP), but 14.1 MP is pretty damn fine already in my opinion. :D I also think that the PowerShot SX210 IS makes up for its loss in the megapixel department with its crazy long distance zoom.
The camera settings stated that this is "56x". I don't know what that means. But this is the maximum zoom. Picture is blurry but... very far right? :D
I'm playing around with the settings of the camera. I now know what's ISO, aperture and shutter speed, thanks to Aarik. I tried to wiki them but I had no idea what I was reading. Never knew there were so many elements to photography. Before this, all I changed in my camera settings were 'flash/no flash' and 'macro/normal'. HAHA! I am such a noob at this. :P I still have lots to learn. But I'll get there someday! :D
P.S. I have school tomorrow and I'm still up. D:
P.P.S. Brother #2 is coming back tomorrow. Haven't seen him since CNY this year. Miss him like crazy. ♥♥♥
P.P.P.S. I posted this post without a title. I only realized it 2 hours after posting it. Fail. D:
P.P.P.P.S. And if you were wondering about the pail, my air-con is still leaking. IT NEVER STOPS!! :(
